Good Morning my Class :)
For English check the English tab of our To Do list... I will talk about it during English.
If you haven't already noticed, the date today is 24/7 :)
Today you will need your book, as SSR is part of your English this term - or at least the first 4 weeks!
I know it's cold, but please don't turn the heatpump up past 21C - it gets super stuffy otherwise.
See you at Interval :)
p.s. I have closed the option for comments - unfortunately too many of you (well, technically 3) have abused that privilege!
Goooood Morning R6!
Welcome to Term 3! Some exciting things are happening this term - the production, Mr Bowen arrives and starts in week 5 (which means I have my last day on the 16th August) and I am sure there are others that my brain has stored deep down in it's basement.
We will be learning a karakia so that when it is our turn in week 4 to lead the school at assembly, we will be able to do so without looking silly; Princes Court days have been changed to Fridays (I think); we start later - Josh I think that was for you :D; our term theme is 'God is Creative' and our new CBL is going to be about... ha! You will have to wait and see ;) I can tell you that creativity will be involved at your level of comfort :)
Let's make these next 4 weeks really fabulous! (Insert R6 Team Chant)
:)See you soon!
You did so well yesterday! I am so proud of you all, it's a difficult thing to have to get up on stage and do something that is out of your 'comfort zone', but you did it!
Lydia, Darnell, Paige, Jonty, Nathan, Collin, Guy, Jayden and Josh, check the Homework tab in about 10 minutes - (as in 9am) and I will have a checklist for you to get through for the morning. Apparently you can't go to finish the stuff at hard materials until 12:30.
Have a fantastic holiday! Don't forget to send me your FINISHED responses and/or CBL research during the holidays.
Hey there Team!
Only 4 days until the holidays!
Don't forget your donation of food today for mufti day.
See you at Interval!
P.S. The kitchen wasn't cleaned up yesterday either, so once again it's out of bounds :(
Welcome to Week 10! I can't believe that already we are in the last week AND it's July as well! That means it's only 176 days until Christmas! :)
Another busy week lies ahead for us, we have a lot to do for the production, the CBL assignment and the movie response are both due on Friday and we have the end of term assembly on Thursday to practice for as well!
I hope you can all walk again after last weeks skiing/snowboarding!
See you after Interval :)
p.s. Today's devotion is really good - if you need me to pray with you or for you, see me at lunch, when I come in or write your request and pop it in the box :)
We have a pretty busy week ahead! Apart from the usual production/class stuff, we also have:
Thursday: Princes Court, Dance...
Today I am with you until 2:45, and Thursday I have you from 8:50 until lunch.
It's going to be a great week!
It's Wednesday R6!
You actually only really have an hour of 'class time' today with Miss Madi coming to take us for dance...
So today we'll be working on CBL, Production, Responses...
Check out the Devotion today (and watch the next video on The Bible Project) and have a think about what it says, especially the 'Respond' section. Remember that serving God and having a relationship with Him is all about 'walking the walk and talking the talk', and mostly, doing it out of love to give Him the Glory!
And finally, just because I can...
See you after Interval!
I get the feeling that today is going to be messy again with production... so we'll be working mostly on CBL. More on that after interval!
In the meantime, watch this clip :)
I have looked at all your ToDo List Notebooks, had a look at your CBL entries (I love how some of you have created new pages in that folder to organise your work!) and commented on your dreams - for those of you who wrote them! For those of you who did not, I am disappointed. Some of you were out with production organisation, but that wasn't all day. I will be speakinig with you today and making a plan to ensure that this doesn't happen again. It's going to take a little while to get used to working like this, but we'll get there!
For those of you NOT going to Princes Court, some of you didn't complete the work from yesterday so you can do it today. I am pretty certain that you won't be auditioning for the entire time so use your time wisely! For those who did, you can do some research for your
I realise that it's difficult to stay focused when you are given a list to work through, but I am confident that you are able to work independently and complete the tasks I set. I won't set tasks that are not achievable for you, and I will try my best to give you thorough instructions!
You are all amazing, capable and responsible!
