Hey Team!
Today is looking especially messy; we have Princes Court, auditions, and finishing at 2pm! So, these people are NOT going to Princes Court: Nadine Tiffany Kyle Nathan Riley Matthew Jonty Max Gabby Gwen I'll see the rest of you at 11 :) :)Mrs W Hey R6! Guess what? It's Wednesday...... :D
Today PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT I GIVE YOU IN ONENOTE,,, I will talk to you all about it when we're in from Interval. :) Today it's a big day for Team Woolf... It's my sisters birthday.... Mitch's birthday... and Sam is leaving tonight to go to USA to work at Camp America! See you at Interval :) :)Mrs W Gooooood Moooorning R6!
Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATHAN! :) I guess that things are going to be really messy from now with the production, so a lot of our lessons and instructions I will be posting here and in our class notebook. That way it won't matter if you are not in class, and you will know what to carry on with when you are able to. If you don't finish things at school, I do expect you to finish them at home - many of you take your laptops home, so make use of them ;) And lastly, here's an idea for when you feel you are past knitting squares... :D :)Mrs W Morning Team!
AARGH! It's been a really busy day... so this is all I have to offer ;) :)Mrs W P.S. I don't have a LOT of your Reading responses OR the persuasive essays.... Hi R6! All the best to our runners today! You will be a credit to our school, I know. As we wind up another week, I wanted to encourage (and challenge) you by asking if you thought you were a 'Ralph', how have you been able to stand up for what is right in every environment, and if you thought you were a bit more like Jack, have you been able to make some changes in your words and actions? I personally think that there has been a change in our R6 Team culture, and I am really proud of you for working to make changes to your own attitudes. It shows, and I know you are well on your way to becoming amazing, strong young adults that won't be afraid to stand up for what you know is right. In other matters... I will need to see all the rest of the Reading Responses by midnight Friday... if you can't send them via email, please print them off and hand to me first thing Monday if you haven't already! And lastly, here is the picture that Max talked about in 'The Mighty'. The Director of the movie did a good job in incorporating it into the scene of Gram and Grim! The painting is called 'American Gothic'. Below are a few links about it. http://mentalfloss.com/article/64853/15-things-you-might-not-know-about-american-gothic

It's Wednesday my class ;) I decided to set up a class notebook in One Note where (hopefully) I have made a list of what you need to complete before lunch today. Check your Inbox; I sent a link for you to join. If it works - and you all know how 'technically challenged' I can be - you will need to copy the tasks and paste them into your notebook. As you do them, check them off. I will be using a timer so we keep on track! (If it doesn't work I will have to do things the way we used to in the 'olden days' - writing on the board ;) We'll be watching the first part of the movie today too, I don't think I'll need tissues today though! Keep warm and I'll see you around Interval. :)Mrs W P.S. I'll be doing knitting with anyone who wants to learn today at lunchtime! WooHoo! Morning R6!
I hope you have had a really nice weekend! I ended up going to Dunedin with Mr Woolf and visiting Mitch on Sunday/Monday. It was really nice to catch up with him! I have been marking some of the Reading Responses - well done, especially to those of you who read Mr Hill's comments on your last ones and made improvements based on those. I haven't finished yet... but I will get them to you all at the same time. Knitting... If you wish to learn to knit, let me know and I will make sure I have the right amount of equipment for you! You may have to contribute a little $ but I have some wool I can bring and maybe some needles as well that I can spare, otherwise I'll pay a visit to Wastebusters on my way home :) If you already knit, feel free to bring it along as well, we will begin tomorrow - it looks as if it will be wet at lunchtime so perfect weather for it! Today (not necessarily in this order...):
See you this morning sometime! I'll be in earlier as I need to do all those things I was going to do instead of going to Dunedin! :)Mrs W. P.S. Comments are great, but make sure you comment using YOUR OWN NAME, not borrowing any others! Thanks :) Morning R6!
I can hardly believe that it is the end of May and the last day of Autumn today! Today after our Princes Court visit (if we go - check with Mrs B) we will be...
It's going to be a great day! :)Mrs W Just when you thought that there was enough Wednesday.... here's some more!
I need you to look at least 5 of these words up and find out: 1. What it is 2. Where it is found 3. What it does it do 4. How does it affect us if we don't have it? Be ready to present your findings tomorrow!
Hey there R6...
IT'S WEDNESDAY... :D Actually it's Wordy Wednesday today! Stand by for what that's all about! Our day will look a bit like this: English Devotions CBL Some of you have been stressing about getting your reading responses in by Thursday night... if you are having trouble, please come and see me, we can work something out. NO STRESS OK?!!! And finally, big shout out to Hannah for the amazing job she did of tidying the bench and cleaning the toasty maker and the microwave! Obviously we have a problem with this, so if it isn't clean when I get to school each morning I will be taking them away. If you have a good, sensible idea that you think will work for keeping the area clean, write it in the comments! Thanks team! See you after interval! :)Mrs W p.s., I can't seem to get the comments to work, but I'll keep trying! |
